Our heated polymer concrete nests for unweaned and weaned piglets are universally applicable and can be used in most common stall and piglet floors. The heated nests are available in water heated or electrically heated and always feature an internal insulation plate at the bottom to minimize heat loss.
Polymer concrete consists mainly of natural mineral raw materials, such as quartz, basalt and granite, these raw materials are bonded with synthetic resin. This mass ensures that the nest heats up evenly and retains this heat for a long time. Polymer concrete is also 100% liquid-proof and dirt-repellent, ensuring hygiene.
The advantage of our polymer concrete nests is that they can be well-adjusted to the temperature curve and a microclimate can be created in the pen, sparing the mother animals from higher tempratures as much as possible.
